Authenticating into ApproveSimple
Upon first launching ApproveSimple, you will be prompted to enter your credentials. If you've signed up for a demo account, these will be provided to you as part of the sign up process.
If you are on an iOS device, you will also be prompted to allow ApproveSimple to send you notifications.
The home page of ApproveSimple includes a breakdown of how many approvals of each type you have pending.
Tapping any of the items in the list will bring you to a swipable carousel with various cards. Each card corresponds to a single approval item, including all of the details and attachments necessary for the user to make the approve/reject decision. Cards are color-coded based on the approval type.
The three dots icon below each item's header information surface additional details, such as approval history.
Tapping the paper clip icon or attachment thumbnail allows you to view any attachments associated with the approval item.
Each item can either be Approved or Rejected. If Reject is selected, you will be prompted to provide a reason.
A loading message will briefly display while your approval/rejection is processing. You may tap "undo" to cancel the action.
The card will disappear from the carousel once approved/rejected. When all pending items have been approved/rejected, a message will display on the home page of ApproveSimple.
If you've enabled notifications for ApproveSimple, you will receive a push notification when a new item is added to your worklist.
By tapping each notification within the device's Notification Center, you can Approve and Reject the item directly from the notification itself, including leaving a rejection reason.
