Configuring Text Field Caching

When a user interacts with a text field, Capriza can cache any input that is typed into the text field, enabling the Zapp to prompt him or her with recently entered values during subsequent runs. Caching is done when the focus leaves the text field so as not to cache partial text.

Caching is enabled by default in the Designer and can be toggled off/on within the In Line Editor (ILE) for the relevant control.

The next time the user interacts with the text field, the cached values are offered for easy selection and input into the text field.

The clock icon to the right of the offered content is the history icon that indicates whether or not these values have been previously used and are offered from the local cache.

The cached values are sorted to show the most frequently used values at the top of the list.
